About Dr. Frances Yahia
I have spent years helping people discover their hidden truths and learning how to undo years of negative internal messages. If you are ready to make peace with your shadows and control your inner fire, then join me on a journey to raising your consciousness.
My Story
Due to exposure to sacred texts at a very early age, I learned the basics of how to live a meaningful life, rooted in balancing the spiritual or soul nature and material or earthly nature early on in my life and that thread of spiritual education saved me from a tumultuous life that included being in a cult, an arranged marriage, losing custody of my children, a five year battle with cancer, a devastating divorce, a 3-year stint with depression and several existential crisis’ along the way.
During each low I kept going back to one concept: free will. I studied Universal Laws and metaphysics for 30 years and the Principle of Mentalism states “all is mind” and I knew that I was creating everything in my life, yet, I didn’t know why or how to stop it.
During my PhD I was asked to write my theory of counseling and I heard a small voice say “Take personal responsibility”. It hit me that the key to unraveling the pain was TPR and this began the change.
I started owning all of my victimhood and all aspects of my story. I was the creator of the good and the bad, and taking that agency was empowering, not debilitating.
I started doing a life inventory and realized that I had never made my own choices. I was programmed to make choices for others, not myself. I met my first astrology teacher and he offered me the possibility of being in charge of my own life. I had never heard those words before so I signed up for astrology. Shortly afterwards I heard a voice say “akashic records” and learned to read the records and I felt I was home.
The searching had stopped, I knew with my mental health background, astrology and akashic records I was becoming the teacher that I had been waiting for.
Shortly after I met a shaman teacher in meditation and he taught me shamanism and I continued to study feverishly. I studied Ayurveda and depth psychology, mythology and symbolism. I felt self-actualized with a thriving spiritual practice, a perfect marriage and a loyal client list.
Then my life fell apart. I got cancer, my husband left; I lost my hair, my house, my love and mostly my faith.
I started owning all of my victimhood and all aspects of my story.
I was the creator of the good and the bad, and taking that agency was empowering, not debilitating.
I sat on a couch for three years, with suicidal ideation and I had lost my curiosity and any desire for living.
I had lost my fire.
Despite what I knew, I had missed working on what had stolen my fire: my shadow. Without looking at the shadow, and bringing it to light, we cannot be whole, heal or love ourselves or another fully.
Proper use of our fire creates a life with a soul’s purpose, divine will leading the way and the ego and personality are simply along for the ride.
During my three-year depression I realized I was in severe mourning for my unlived life. What I was mourning were the decisions I had made, rooted in my subconscious programming and low-level consciousness. I was unraveling a life of lies and hiding.
On the Summer Solstice in 2020 I woke up and declared myself cancer free and my tests confirmed it. I eliminated my antidepressants, cleaned up my diet and was spiritually renewed.
Since then I have written several books on the subconscious including a systems approach to love, family, work, and others, all focused on the subconscious and how it affects all areas of life and keeps us in victimhood.
The first part of manning your fires is to own the entirety of your story and understand why you created it all. 99% of our fire is spent trying to change the unchangeable in our nature.
Let me teach you how to man your fires, so you can change what you’re in control of and surrender to what isn’t.

I’m Not Woo-Woo, But I Use Woo-Woo Tools
I am a depth psychologist, but sometimes it is difficult to neatly package what I do. Traditional therapy may focus on validating experiences and feelings, but often avoids making a client uncomfortable. I don’t, I want to start fires in your life. I want to get you uncomfortable with the lies you tell yourself. I want to get you excited about living, loving, working and serving. You cannot do this unless you have a fire lit under you. Talk therapy isn’t enough. During my self-discovery process I used astrology, ceremony and ritual, divination techniques, mythology and symbology as some of the tools to help me own everything in my life. This doesn’t make me less of a therapist and it doesn’t make me woo woo, it makes me smart because I use all the tools available to help you learn about the inner workings of your psyche. My signature tool, the psychological X-ray, is your psyche on a piece of paper. I use the astrology chart to identify the limiting thoughts and psychological archetypes and myths you’re living out and if needed, I call in the akashic records to help us find answers at moments you may be stuck. Everything I do is rooted in metaphysical laws and universal truths, found in every sacred tradition across the globe. This is why my methods work.
